Natural Gas Now Best Picks – March 4, 2023

More than a dozen whales have either washed up or have been spotted offshore in the waters of New York and New Jersey since Dec. 1.

Clearly, the Feds and Murphy are hoping the whale issue will just go away so the billions they’re sending the way of wind developers can continue and some of it will trickle back to support them as well. That’s the way it works.

So, we’re seeing a repeat of the government’s unconstitutional COVID response. Everything that questioned government was then dismissed as conspiracy theory but mostly turned out to be true. The lying, nonetheless, continued because lying was essential to the crime. It appears to be happening again.

Greta Thunberg has been twice detained at protests in Oslo over an onshore wind farm which she and activists say hinders the rights of the Sami indigenous people to raise reindeer in Arctic Norway.

The 20-year-old Swedish environmental campaigner and hundreds of other demonstrators say a transition to green energy should not come at the expense of indigenous rights and have been demanding the removal of 151 wind turbines from land used by Sami herders.

“We want to make it very clear that it is the Norwegian state that is committing the real crime here, for violating human rights,” she told Reuters news agency, minutes before she was removed.

Sadly, Greta has joined the opposition to at least one climate scam because, of course, it’s in her backyard, she being a neighboring Swede. I say sadly because it proves Greta is a serial protester type, not really knowledgable or passionate about anything other than securing attention for herself.

A kinder judgment, of course, might be that she’s simple exhibiting one of the great truths; that we are all conservative about the things we know the most about. She’s willing to be a shill for those who would place wind turbines throughout the rest of the world but not in the backyard she knows so well. Whatever the case, Greta has made a critical mistake by joining the NIMBYs as the grifters behind her to date will now have no further use for her.

Apple Plays Games with Its Customers

This story has been getting around among some, but nearly enough from my perspective as a user and devotee of Apple Products for four decades.

A silly feature introduced with iOS 16.1 called “Clean Energy Charging” has upset some iPhone users as their devices will only charge when lower carbon-emission electricity on the grid is available.

Some iPhone users reported when iOS 16.1 was installed — their devices were automatically selected for Clean Energy Charging. Charging when the grid is ‘green’ has its disadvantages for the user experience, who might incur slower charge times.

While Apple is forcefully trying to reduce the carbon footprint of iPhone users to fight climate change, don’t bring up the sobering reality about all the carbon emissions it takes to mine lithium and other rare Earth metals for Apple products. Also, don’t bring up company execs, such as Tim Cook, who fly on private jets.

What irks the average person is that corporate elites and governments impose life-altering climate change measures on the working poor while the rules don’t apply to the rich. Recall the Biden administration is trying to ban gas stoves.

Why I say this story hasn’t gotten enough attention is that, although most of the reporting on this has noted you can turn off the feature, writers haven’t noticed how Apple even discourages that by suggesting your answer should be to only turn it off until tomorrow:

I like my Apple products, but this is thoroughly disgusting. Add it to the fact Apple has essentially partnered with the Chinese Communist Party, and I’m beginning to wonder…
