George Stark talks about the Shale Energy Alliance “I Fracking Voted” campaign and the need to get out the vote for energy development.
As you already know, election day is right around the corner. In fact, today is National Voter Registration Day! What better time to share an exciting new initiative from our friends over at Shale Energy Alliance (SEA)? The ‘I Fracking Voted’ program is your chance to commit to the polls this year by pledging to vote. Additionally, you’ll get some cool swag and the chance to check out who else has made the pledge!
Here’s how it works:
- Head over to SEA’s website and click “Pledge to Vote,” or click here. Fill out your information and submit your pledge!
- Keep an eye on your mailbox for some cool SEA “I Voted” stickers – one is even hard hat approved!
- Once you receive the stickers, post a picture with them and tag SEA on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn or email your picture to [email protected]
In addition to taking the ‘I Fracking Voted’ pledge, Shale Energy Alliance also offers a variety of election resources.
After you’ve signed up, you’ll land on the 2020 Voter Toolkit where you can check your registration status, find out who will be on your ballot and even learn more about your currently elected officials.
Whether you’re headed to the polls or voting by mail, you can still join SEA in gearing up for this year’s election. We look forward to seeing you all show off your SEA ‘I Fracking Voted’ swag when you pledge to vote.
