[Editor’s Note: The climate con has worked too well in some cases, as Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey just learned when her snob party on Nantucket was ruined by protesters.]
This story perfectly illustrates what has happened inside the Democrat Party from its fearmongering about climate change and demonization of fossil energy. A group of kids in their early 20s (thoroughly brainwashed from K-12 and now in college) showed up at a hoity-toity, very exclusive fundraiser for Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey, herself a hardened anti-fossil fuel leftist.
The kids crashed her party being held at a private Nantucket Island home. The kids demanded Healey shut down all new fossil-fuel projects in the Bay State, and demanded she answer “yes or no” right then and there to their demands. Healey demurred, and the wacko kids got loud and mouthy and had to be escorted out of the event. It came close to a fistfight between some of the older leftwing libs attending the event and the kids. Civil war in the Democrat Party.

Climate activists turned Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey’s exclusive fundraiser on Nantucket Island into something of an unnatural disaster.
During the Saturday mingle at a private home, activist Matt Lyon interrupted the Democrat to demand that she shut down all new fossil-fuel projects in her state, and when she failed to give him a yes-or-no answer, the chanting began.
“End fossil fuels, Maura! End fossil fuels!” shouted the activists, as shown on a video posted by Climate Defiance.
A half-dozen activists stood in front of the crowd holding a white “End Fossil Fuels” banner, at which point they were confronted by the angry Democratic attendees.
“Get out!” shouted one woman.
“You’ve hurt your cause,” said a man, adding, “I’ve been a climate activist longer than you’ve been alive.”
Another attendee accused the activists of rudeness, prompting an activist to shout: “We’re going to die! Who cares if we’re rude?” He retorted: “I don’t mind if you die.”
Being accosted by left-wing activists is part of the job description if you’re a Republican — ask Sen. Ted Cruz, Sen. Rand Paul or Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
But what’s notable about Climate Defiance is that it singles out Democrats.
The newly formed “disruptive direct action” group lists as one of its missions: “Make clear to Democratic lawmakers that the youth vote will only deliver for them if they deliver for us.”
Recent Democratic targets include Vice President Kamala Harris, Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo, and Mary Frances Repko, White House deputy climate advisor.
The group also blockaded in April the White House Correspondents Dinner.

Obviously, the kids didn’t get the memo from the higher-ups in the Democrat Party that catastrophic global warming is just a head-fake. It’s not real. Its only purpose is to gain and hold political power and the tactical use of fear to control the masses. These kids actually drank the Kool-Aid. They are true believers that if we don’t end the use of fossil energy now, we’re all dead. And they are acting on that belief, which was drilled into them throughout their school years.
These kids are a monster of the Democrat Party’s own making—and they now threaten to tip over into violence. You reap what you sow. They are turning on their own! And the Dems don’t know what the heck to do about it. Delicious, no?
Editor’s Note: I share Jim’s views on the irony of Maura Healey being harassed by the same people she attempted to appease with her demagoguery. It’s a perfect case of sowing the wind and reaping the whirlwind, of course. I will add, though, that the climate scam is not only about grabbing power and controlling the masses, but also about harvesting trillions of dollars from ratepayers and taxpayers to enrich the corporatists who finance and thus enable the whole damned scheme.
