Elitism Is Its Own Cure as Climate and Other Scams Show Us

Corporatism Is the Disease and Truth and Speech Are the Cures

Elitism, a refined form of pride, is behind so much that is wrong. Yet, within it are the antidotes to itself, as we are now seeing with climate and other scams.

Throughout this week, as I got up early this morning and perused my favorite news blogs for word on what happened recently, I have been treated to stories that have brought something very important home to me. It is a corollary to one of the slogans of the oil and gas industry; that the solution to high prices is always high prices. That is to say, high prices attract the attention of innovators and risk-takers who quickly jump in the game for the rewards and by doing so increase supply and lower prices. The news this morning is filled with examples of why that also applies to elitism, the companion of the corporatism I wrote about a few days ago.

Elitism is simply pride melded with wealth and/or power. It is, for this reason, extremely vulnerable to the inevitable search for more, more and more that comes with wealth and/or power, which are flip sides of the same coin. That such searches always overreach is an axiom of human nature.  Whether it’s Klaus Schwab, the Teutonic megalomaniac envisioning his World Economic Forum as a new world order with himself as Lord Emperor, or the princely operator of the scanner at the door of the courthouse who treats you like a criminal even though he knows who you are and why you’re there, the temptation to exercise excess authority is ever present.

Yet, such excesses also invariably lead to downfalls and we can see them coming. Take, for example, the contemptible FBI Director Chris Wray who, for some reason is at the WEF gathering of elites in Davos, which is the last thing we should be paying a FBI Director to do. Wray is the preppie prototype, raised in the NYC bubble, educated at the Buckley School in New York City, the Phillips Academy boarding school and Yale University. He is a quintessential member of the elite and is seemingly dedicated to systematically undermining every feature of our constitutional republic and turning it into a police state. And, his success to date with that venture has made him the next over-confident “pride goeth before the fall” candidate as we see in this video of him from the WEF spectacle:

Now, consider for a moment that this comment comes but days after Twitter revealed his FBI had assigned 80 agents to censorship duty and was asking it to stop such Tweets as “Americans, Vote today. Democrats you vote Wednesday 9th” as if this obvious joke was somehow a threat to the nation.  So, is Wray so tone-deaf he doesn’t realize how inappropriate his remarks were in the context of the Twitter scandal. Or, is that he simply doesn’t care how we perceive things because he imagines he is now at the top of the heap where one can say things such as “let them eat cake”? The answer is self-apparent; he wouldn’t be at the WEF at all if he was worried about our opinion. He went there because, like all elites, he views hypocrisy as a virtue, as an opportunity to show he’s in the club, far above above having to care what we might think.

The same is true of others who have made the pilgrimage to Davos to ply their schemes and pilfer off all of us. Al Gore is there and for the umpteenth time over several decades he bellowed about the pseudo planetary disease of global warming that’s about to kill us in a couple of years but has made him filthy rich in the process:

!function(r,u,m,b,l,e){r._Rumble=b,r[b]||(r[b]=function(){(r[b]._=r[b]._||[]).push(arguments);if(r[b]._.length==1){l=u.createElement(m),e=u.getElementsByTagName(m)[0],l.async=1,l.src=”https://rumble.com/embedJS/u2ypnl”+(arguments[1].video?’.’+arguments[1].video:”)+”/?url=”+encodeURIComponent(location.href)+”&args=”+encodeURIComponent(JSON.stringify([].slice.apply(arguments))),e.parentNode.insertBefore(l,e)}})}(window, document, “script”, “Rumble”);

Rumble(“play”, {“video”:”v23e9w4″,”div”:”rumble_v23e9w4″});

Get that? He wants us to “scale up”his finances and squeeze us and anyone who sides with us out of the picture. He went on one rant after another, in fact, with rehearsed scare routines designed to become sound bites promoting one of the two biggest financial scams and power plays ever foisted on the world. Yes, “climate change” is but a platform for Al, one about the sciences of power grabbing and money-making, not the environment or planetary health. But, as the video clip illustrates, Al Gore is well past his sell by date. He overreached big-time and no one takes him seriously anymore. One can only predict disaster so many times, after all, unless your Paul Erlich, in which case you may be able to find a Scott Pelley to listen, but few others.

The WEF features all sorts of pomposity of this order and it is quickly becoming a caricature event. One can scarecly read the words “World Economic Forum” without them being attached to some ridiculous person such as Klaus Schwab, some evil person such George Soros, some profiteer such as Bill Gates or some second-rate politician with delusions of grandeur such as Brian Kemp. It is becoming farcical, particularly when its advisors say things such “we sill be like gods” or you’ll own nothing and be happy.” None of this palatable to the ordinary folks on which the future depends. Our elites suppose it depends on them and are about to be cruelly disappointed, which is what happens to all tyrants in the end. The solution to elitism is elitism.
