Absurdity Tells Us Independence Day Is Being Revisited

[Editor’s Note: We are witnessing peak absurdity in America and throughout the Western world. We must hope, this Independence Day, that this absurdity yields a turning.]
It’s easy to be pessimistic today about the future of America. Every value is being challenged. Every institution seems to be corrupted. Every word from on high seems to be a lie. Yet, America has always been a tumultuous place and nothing we see today is new other than the failure to grasp history. That, admittedly, is no small thing but there are things happening that suggest we are in the midst of a turning and it may well be for the better. I say that because those creating turmoil today appear to be closing in on peak absurdity and the inevitable revolution, counter or otherwise, may soon be upon us.
I say this because we are seeing ever more clearly now what happened during COVID. All the lies told for the purpose of playing with our freedom are slowing being exposed. We now know it was a lab leak. We now know Anthony Fauci, the highest paid man in the bureaucracy, who forced killer drugs onto AIDS victims, did the same during COVID . Moreover, he did so after having funded the Chinese lab to do the research that led to the leak, research legally denied him by both the Obama and Trump Administrations.
We now know the vaccines accomplished little or nothing and increased one’s chance of getting COVID. We now know the CDC, Big Pharma, Big Media and Big Tech all lied to us repeatedly and then joined forces with the government to quiet and disappear any thoughts or expressions counter to the lies in the first big test of the Great Reset.
COVID did accomplish one positive thing, though. It ultimately exposed all of the above and much more. And, it took things too far, to peak absurdity, when amidst the frenzied mission to empower and enrich, it led to motorcycle deaths being classified as COVID deaths so the money and power would flow to all involved.
It led, against all science, to mandates that even those with natural immunity take the jab or lose their jobs. It led to Anthony Fauci telling us we shouldn’t celebrate holidays together but it was just fine to join thousands shoulder to shoulder in Black Lives Matter protests, as if the politically correct cause would ameliorate the supposed health threat.
The absurdity is even more evident with respect to global warming speculation and promotion as a cause for restricting freedom. We are now told global warning will irrevocably lead to the destruction of the planet in 20, 15, 10, 5, 7, 13, 25 years — whatever number is far enough out to not be recalled when disaster doesn’t arrive.
We are, indeed, well beyond the point of absurdity on this one, as the hired guns of science produce one piece of trash after another suggesting global warming is responsible for collapsing gingerbread houses, bank redlining policies and shorter days. Worse, they would have us believe global warming causes severe winters, and ask us to accept there are no possible benefits. The absurdity is this case has reached a “jump the shark” proportions and the narrative is unraveling as consumers around the globe are gradually realizing it’s all a game; a thirst for more power and money.
Yes, there is an awakening taking place this Independence Day. It’s not just COVID and global warming. It’s also a growing realization that we have all been sold a ridiculous bill of goods; one that, for instance, pretends anyone at all can be a woman, that racism is the cure for racism, that a border across which thousands a day cross illegally is somehow secure and so on.
The average American has become aghast at what is taking place in their schools (thanks to COVID lockdowns and forced remote learning), what is happening in sports and what our government advances. They listen to ABC News tell them what couldn’t matter less and refuse to tell what does matter. They Google a subject and find the first 100 entries or so advance the leftist or government view. They watch organizations that once arguably spoke truth to power or at least questioned it, now siding up with the likes of a thoroughly corrupted FBI.
All this is good. We are witnessing the collapse of a corrupt cabal run by leftists in the service of elites who have secured immense power but have decided that only complete power is enough. This happens from time to time in human history and every time — every single time — the freedom starved have risen up to declare independence. It’s happening again.
