LinkedIn Goes Woke and Denies CO2 Facts
LinkedIn has joined the ranks of the woke who deny facts and hate free speech, just like the fractivists who oppose natural gas development:
The big-tech censors are at it again: the CO2 Coalition’s Executive Director Gregory Wrightstone has been permanently banned from LinkedIn. What did Wrightstone do to earn the banishment? His “crime” consisted of posting charts from peer reviewed research supported by official sources demonstrating that current global average CO2 levels are well within the natural range of concentrations throughout the Earth’s history.
Not only that, but according to Wrightstone’s Twitter account, the censors at Facebook also rejected a Facebook ad linking to the CO2 Coalition’s statement on Wrightstone’s LinkedIn ban. This suggests Facebook is acting in coordination with the “professional networking” social media site LinkedIn to silence Wrightstone and the CO2 Coalition.
This is so beyond disgusting. When a scientist cannot present peer-reviewed research that goes against the grain of the politically correct on major platforms of speech, the West has much more serious problems than climate or CO2.

They’re Now Coming for Our Pets!

If your dog has a meat-heavy diet, you’ll want to gradually adjust its microbiome to a plant-based one…
Look for toys made from upcycled materials, like denim or rope, and consumable chew toys. Invest in durable leashes, harnesses, and collars (check out brands like Wanderruff, which makes them out of recycled consumer plastic), and tell your local pet store how much you prefer plastic-free goods…
For cats, avoid kitty litter containing bentonite clay, which comes from strip mines, and look into biodegradable options like Yesterday’s News by Purina and Cedarific by Nepco. If you must use puppy pee pads, get machine-washable ones…
Look into biodegradable caskets and urns (Passages International makes them from willow, mulberry bark, and recycled cardboard)…
Got that? Save the planet by avoiding plastic pet toys that are made with natural gas! What a complete joke these people are!

Germany Faces A Natural Gas Crisis of Its Own Making!

Germany triggered the “alarm stage” of its emergency gas plan on Thursday in response to falling Russian supplies but stopped short of allowing utilities to pass on soaring energy costs to customers in Europe’s largest economy.
The measure is the latest escalation in a standoff between Europe and Moscow since the Russian invasion of Ukraine that has exposed the bloc’s dependence on Russian gas supplies and sparked a frantic search for alternative energy sources.
Several countries have outlined measures to withstand a supply squeeze and avert winter energy shortages and an inflation spike that could test Europe’s resolve to maintain sanctions on Russia…

The EU also signalled a temporary return to coal to plug the gap after calling Moscow’s gas supply cuts “rogue moves.”
Its climate policy chief Frans Timmermans said 10 of the EU’s 27 member countries have issued an “early warning” on gas supply – the first of three crisis levels.
“The risk of full gas disruption is now more real than ever before,” he said.
Yes, and that’s not Russia’s fault. It’s the fault of politically correct leaders in Germany who abandoned their own natural gas development, welcomed a Russian pipeline and pursued the incredible stupid Energiewende.

Coal and Natural Gas Winning As Greenies Fail Bigly

Yes, contrary to the intentions of Green fanatics everywhere, their push to accelerate away from “dirty” fossil fuel has not only backfired spectacularly, but also exposed the hypocrisy and empty promises of so many virtue-signalers, as “from the U.S. to Europe to China, many of the world’s largest economies are increasing short-term coal purchases to ensure sufficient supplies of electricity, despite prior pledges by many countries to reduce their coal consumption to combat climate change.”
Green energy — now including nuclear and natural gas!
…The best part: the global green lobby is about to be silenced forever.
The resurgence of coal, which emits around double the carbon dioxide as burning natural gas, further threatens to set back international efforts to keep global temperatures under 2 degrees Celsius from preindustrial levels, and preferably close to 1.5 degrees, by the end of the century.
That is the goal that more than 190 nations agreed to pursue under the 2015 Paris Agreement to avoid the most dangerous potential consequences of global warming. The United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says that emissions, which continue to rise, would need to be drastically reduced by the end of the decade to meet the goal.
Then again, with the west especially skilled at deluding itself, who’s to say the lies won’t continue. Indeed, as the WSJ notes, climate activists and forecasters say they are concerned about a rise in coal use, but see it as a short-term phenomenon in the West and are more worried that the Ukraine war and other geopolitical events are spurring new natural-gas investments that could operate for decades.
