Despite declining prices, two U.S. natural gas production records were set in August, according to Kallanish Energy.
A new daily production record was set on August 19, when production reached 92.8 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d), according to estimates from IHS Markit, the Energy Information Administration reports.
A new monthly record was also set in August, as natural gas productions averaged more than 91 Bcf/d for the first time.
