TPC Wire & Cable Corp. in Macedonia this week acquired two companies: Cicoil LLC in Valencia, Calif., and Pittsburgh Wire and Cable Inc. in Pittsburgh, Pa.
The company, which makes wires and cables insulated in thermoset and thermoplastic materials, announced the acquisitions in a set of news releases. Terms of the deals are not being disclosed.
Cicoil is a maker of flat cable and flat and round cable assemblies for industries including semiconductor and medical, the release stated. Pittsburgh Wire and Cable distributes industrial and commercial wire and cable for industries like video inspection and mining, according to the release. This acquisition helps TPC expand further into new end-user markets. Biskopski said Pittsburgh Wire and Cable has eight employees.
With the acquisitions, TPC now has nearly 300 employees, Biskopski said. Revenue was not shared for any of the companies.
