February’s free monthly Think About Energy webinar will focus on the first 100 days of the Biden Administration and their plan moving forward.

As we roll into a new year, we know that few things remain unchanged. A new administration, economic recovery from a global pandemic, and ever-changing policies that impact our workforce, industry, and environment are only a few examples of the challenges the nation is facing.

Think About Energy

One thing we know for sure is that energy plays a key role in each of these examples. This makes it crucial to have important conversations about our industry and how it contributes to the nation’s recovery. Think About Energy (TAE) serves as a bridge between policies and procedures and the end consumers who depend on reliable and affordable energy.

If you’re not already familiar, TAE is a platform that brings together communities, their legislators, business leaders and energy experts. Here they can discuss the elements of the natural gas industry that are impacting our world today. From policy in government right down to local workforce development in your community, TAE holds educational discussions about what’s to come in the industry.

This past year, TAE transitioned to a platform that catered to our stay-at-home schedules, offering free monthly webinars. At each event, we heard from speakers around the industry such as local chamber presidents, county commissioners and policy experts. Last November, TAE brought in three local representatives to chat about their upcoming legislative package, the Commonwealth’s COVID Comeback Plan.

TAE has even more in store for you this year, including conversations about taxation and state budget; workforce development; energy education; and so much more. Their next webinar will take place on Thursday, February 18 at 10 A.M. EST.  Anne Bradbury, CEO at AXPC; Kevin Sunday, Director of Government Affairs at the PA Chamber; and Tracy Lawless, Government Affairs Advisor at K&L Gates will share their insights on how the Biden Administration plans to handle environmental and energy policies moving forward.

We encourage you to stay up to date on energy policy, news, and conversation. You can connect with TAE via social media, check out their website, or watch informative clips on YouTube. But first, make sure you head to the registration page and sign up to join the next event on February 18!
