Range looks to achieve zero gas emissions

The largest natural gas driller in the Marcellus Shale has made big strides in working towards achieving its ultimate goal of one day releasing zero greenhouse gas emissions, according to the Observer-Reporter.

Range Resources released its first Corporate Sustainability Report last week. The 32-page summary detailed the company’s success in reducing emissions over the past decade, along with other corporate initiatives, accomplishments and goals.

Range’s most prominent goal highlighted in the report is to achieve zero emissions across its operations. The company did not propose a timeframe for accomplishing its goal, but remains optimistic.
