MPLX and Mountaineer Storage to Present at Appalachian Storage Hub Conference

MPLX LP  which recently announced it is evaluating underground NGL storage caverns at its Hopedale, Harrison County Ohio, complex, will be one of the speakers at the 3rd Annual Appalachian Storage Hub Conference.  MPLX will provide its latest assessment regarding underground storage in Hopedale.  Underground storage will be an important component in the development of the petrochemical/chemical industries in the Appalachian Basin.

Mountaineer Storage will also be updating the audience about its storage hub in Monroe County near Clarington, Ohio.

The Marcellus and Utica shale plays are generating incredible amounts of natural gas which make the Appalachian Basin the cheapest in the world to produce petrochemicals. There are currently two cracker plants in the Basin, but the tremendous natural gas reserves in the Marcellus and Utica has lead IHS Markit to project that four or five cracker plants could be supported in Pennsylvania alone.

You cannot afford to miss this opportunity to learn exactly what these two companies are planning.

In addition to hearing from MPLX and Mountaineer storage, you will also hear from Charles Zelek, DOE senior economist, who will be presenting DOE’s Appalachian Storage Hub report.

Billions will be spent building out the storage hub.  Plan on attending to learn what it can mean to your company.
