Let’s get social

Social media is many things. On a personal level, it’s a way to keep in touch with family or a way to decide which family members to avoid. From a business perspective, it’s a great way to create a community for your workers, to share your company’s story with the general public or even recruit workers — especially millennials and Gen Z.

It’s also a place to find some interesting stories. One of the recent Kickstart blogs included an item on the pasta shortage, I found that through a Twitter link over the holidays.

The key is to curate a solid list of people to follow.

To help you find your social media community, Plastics News will have a special report on Feb. 15 on the most interesting social media accounts in plastics. We follow quite a few, but want to know who you’d recommend to others.

They may be individuals or companies and could be from any of the major social media platforms out there.

You can go to plasticsnews.com/social to access a brief form or feel free to drop me an email with recommendations at [email protected] or via social media.
