We are seeing values of Ohio River front property trading in the range of ~$10,000/acre to highs of $150,000/acre and in rare instances values are above $150,000/acre (higher values are based upon “clean” brownfields and useable acreage.
Properties commanding top dollar are range in size from 25 – 50 acres with active rail and barge cells. Larger tracts of land are trading in the midrange or in the area of $50,000 – $100,000/acre.
