Berlin Packaging LLC is making an acquisition that will help distribution operations in Northern Europe, the company said.
Berlin announced Sept. 3 that it purchased Vincap BV and Adolfse Packaging BV, based in Utrecht, Netherlands. Berlin described the acquired company as a significant supplier of plastic, cork and metal closures and plastic packaging for Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
Terms were not disclosed.
Known as Vincap & Adolfse, the company will be folded into Berlin’s Bruni Glass organization, which is based in Milan, Italy.
“The Vincap & Adolfse integration will strengthen our business proposition and support our growth across Northern Europe,” CEO Paolo Recrosio of Bruni Glass said in a statement.
Berlin Packaging is a $2.6 billion packaging distribution company based in Chicago. The company has made 10 acquisitions since 2010, including four in Europe since 2016.
