Plastics in Politics Live – October 2022

Join us October 11 at 2PM EDT for a Plastics In Politics Livestream.

This month, we’ll look at an ocean plastics research development that’s garnered attention. The group Ocean Conservancy, one of the forces behind widely cited 2015 research that 5 Asian countries were responsible for most ocean plastic, has withdrawn the study and apologized for it. We can also talk about a new cross-border report looking at plastics policy recommendations for the Great Lakes region, about Virginia delaying its EPS ban and a proposal by OSHA to put online a LOT more information about factory accidents. And we could touch on dueling lawsuits between the Plastics Industry Association and its former CEO. We’ll take questions live on any topic, or you can submit them in advance to pnevents@crain.com or stoloken@crain.com
