The Revolution Pipeline resumed service in western Pennsylvania after being offline for more than two years following an explosion in Beaver County, according to Farm and Dairy.
The Pennsylvania Department of Energy received a notice from ETC Northeast Pipeline, stating that the 40.5-mile natural gas pipeline would be put back into service March 1.
On Sept. 10, 2018, in the early morning, the pipeline exploded near a small neighborhood in Center Township. Heavy rains caused a landslide that created a break in the line, allowing gas to escape and ignite. A home a barn and several vehicles were destroyed in the fire but no one was injured.
